Hi to all my classmates I will be discussing what foreign policy is and why I believe it’s so crucial to our national government. In addition according to a website called online.york.ac.uk Foreign Policy is a system that helps the national government create interactions and relationships with other countries. Overall, Foreign Policy helps maintain peace and stability throughout all the countries in the world which is why I believe it’s so crucial to our national government. Therefore I will be presenting the benefits Foreign Policy offers to a national government from a website called state.gov it states “Promote stability in all regions of the world; Prevent enemies from threatening the United States or our allies with weapons of mass destruction; Reduce the impact of international crime and illegal drugs on Americans; Protect and assist American citizens who travel, conduct business, and live abroad.” This sentence “Promote stability in all regions of the world; Prevent enemies from threatening the United States or our allies with weapons of mass destruction” is significant because it explains how foreign policy helps maintain stability throughout all countries and prevents mass destruction.
